Just bought some of the nicest looking greens from the Farmers Market, which was a series of events that ultimately lead to a stir fry.
I love me a Market Day.
I love Saturday mornings in Santa Cruz—especially when it’s a sunny and warm January day(whaaaaat?)—because it means I can ride my bike to the farmer’s market…in a dress, and be called the “vegetable paparazzi”. Today I bought some fresh goodies for the week: blood oranges, fresh dates, dino kale for homemade kale chips, fresh lettuce and radicchio for a good salad, and some butternut squash I’m going to put to good use for a pie.
