What I like to call myself Cutie Bouquet. Perfect to put on the sink in the bathroom.
A few bunches of Anemones today to mix it up a bit. This, also, is what I would like to do with my life (Amanda fact.)
Guess what…
Sweet peas are finally here!
There’s a fully bloomed Dutch Iris bunch. I’m digging this “off-season” we’re having. Definitely can’t wait for the Dahlias, but I’ll take these any day.
Poppy arrangement from the garden of yours truly.
And a close up. Loving how light and delicate these guys are.
This weeks seasonal arrangement brought to you by: Amanda “I now need bigger vases” Vidmar
Including: Dutch Iris’, Cosmos, Calendula, Star of Bethlehem, Sweet Pea, and Garlic Scapes.
Finally time to arrange today. Asiatic Lily’s are finally here, as well as Sunflowers. Also in this arrangement are Bells of Ireland (they smell too good), Star of Bethlehem, Sweet William, and some Statice.
I miss you, Santa Cruz, and our late-morning, rainy day flower arranging. I can’t wait for late-morning, rainy day flower arranging San Franciscan style in the fall.
The truth is: I’ve died and gone to flower heaven. The company I’m working for uses the most beautiful materials. I’m learning a lot, and I couldn’t ask for a better place to do so.
These are Juliets—a variety of David Austin English roses, and are things that I hope to be surrounded by all day every day. I once heard of a florist who thought that these types of roses were defected, and threw them all away. Lord all mighty.
Apologies for the neglect of this blog lately—I have thought of you fondly and frequently and am looking forward to catching up on all of your lives on this blogosphere we have here.
I also hope that all of you on the East Coast are staying safe and dry. I have thought about you all fondly as well.
