Phew, I’m having one of those moments where I sit down and realize that I have time to relax.  I think the reality of being a busy person kicks in when I think that having time to do laundry is a treat.  In addition to that, I am so excited to make meal that isn’t a Larabar and coffee on my 20 minute break.  Hence, the photo above—fresh lettuce, apples, beets, and goat cheese salad with an apple cider vinaigrette that I made right quick.
Good news, though—the past couple of days have been successful!  I am officially hired as a floral designer at a shop in San Francisco.  The first step has been taken.  The second step was finding an apartment there, which task has successfully been completed. Oof, I’m officially a city girl! Only during the week.  Duty calls at the farm on the weekends still, which I am so very pleased about.  I’m not quite ready to leave my friends in Santa Cruz, nor do I feel I am finished at the farm—both make me incredibly happy.
I feel like the next few months are going to be an incredible transitional period for a lot of people that I know and love—This is a crazy time in the early-20s life, but what will be will be!
I hope everybody had a wonderful long weekend of (hopefully) not working all three days like myself.  And if you were working all three days like myself, may it have been something that you love doing.  I can only hope that for each and every one of my readers.  Have a wonderful night, all, this concludes my novel to you!
