Ah, there I am!

In a nutshell: I was once asked to describe my life in a six word sentence (yes, it actually happened). I responded with—Enjoying the scenery on the detour.  And thus, it has become the central goal in my life.

Anyhow, Amanda Vidmar is my name, and The Picnic Basket is my little place of inspiration, humor, and happiness.  I’m a simple twenty-something lady who is a lover of all things that make me laugh, and an admirer of the things that people make with their very hands.

This blog contains a whole smorgasbord of things I’m interested in: photography, personal style, food styling, recommendations, health-nut recipes of my own and others, and things that inspire me in a general sense.

The majority of my posts are my own personal photography.  Posts tagged “photos by me” or “Amanda Vidmar Photography” are my own original content, and other posts are humbly sourced to their creative authors.  Feel free to use my content, but please give credit to my work and the work of others.
